Dr. Alex P. James is a globally recognised Indian scientist, AI hardware expert, and academic leader, currently serving as Professor of AI Hardware, Dean, and Controller of Examinations at Digital University Kerala. Ranked among the world’s top 1% scientists in Electrical and Electronics Engineering by the Stanford–Elsevier global database, his pioneering research spans neuromorphic computing, brain-inspired AI chips, graphene-based intelligent materials, and advanced memory circuits.
